2.2) Consultant Contract for the Brookside Elementary School Sidewalk Gap Closure Project Phases 2 and 3. This project design is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under a Class 6 categorical exemption, because the scope of work consists of data gathering, analysis and preparation of plans and specifications for a project.  No construction or alteration will be undertaken.  (14 Cal. Code Regs. § 15306).  When the plans and specifications are finalized and ready for bidding and construction, a CEQA analysis will be undertaken at that time.
